Sisters of Saint Joseph
We, Sisters of Saint Joseph, have a unique relationship with our sponsored works, places founded and supported by our Congregation where our mission of unity directs the philosophy, mission, values — the very life of each place. These sponsored works respond to educational, health care, social service, spiritual and housing needs in our world today. In these sponsored ministries our lay colleagues partner with us in fostering a spirit of loving God and neighbor without distinction.
Our Mission
Bethlehem Retirement Village is an affordable housing residence for the elderly, sponsored by the Sisters of Saint Joseph. We strive to provide a safe environment fostering a spirit of independence and community. Inspired by Christian principles and the example of Saint Joseph residents reach out in service and hospitality to one another and to the broader community.
Our Values
We strive to hold each resident, and staff member with respect and dignity. In the tradition of the Sisters of Saint Joseph, we strive to serve each resident as “the dear neighbor” so that every member of the community will experience the Village as their home. Bethlehem Village is a nondenominational community and is open to all without regard to race, national origin, religion, gender, or disability. We work to have all members of the Village community enjoy the support and compassion that is part of the community life experience.
